Tetrahydrocannabihexol

Tetrahydrocannabihexol (Δ^9-THCH, Δ^9-Parahexyl, n-Hexyl-Δ^9-THC) is a phytocannabinoid and the hexyl homologue of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), discovered in Cannabis in 2020 alongside its cannabidiol homologue. Although first isolated recently, its synthetic version, parahexyl, and an isomer, Δ^8-THCH (synthetic cannabinoid JWH-124), were known earlier. THCH can be synthesized from 4-Hexylresorcinol and was explored by Roger Adams as early as 1942. Its discovery expands the knowledge of cannabinoids’ structural diversity within Cannabis
